Large Energy Recovery Wheels
Lower price wheels use a plastic material impregnated with a silica gel which will absorb the water vapor from the air and will expel the water with the force of an exhaust fan and the vapor pressure difference between the air paths. While this type of wheel is "fine" and well proven, its performance is inferior to the molecular sieve and there is a chance of smells transferring from the outside air inlet to the exhaust air outlet.

100% Outside Air Units
Over the past few years we have been building our portfolio of products to offer a full offering of high outside air make up air units of up to 100%. Starting as low as 100 cfm and legitimately up to 20,000 cfm (although higher with custom or multiple units) we can do brute force (no return connection) or energy recovery (with options). Incidentally, units can be set up for up to 100% mechanical heating and cooling (ie recirculating and increase outside air up to complete make up air).
